Clôtures DKA: from about 7 web requests a month to 32

A fence company in Gatineau and Ottawa. What we built, and what we measured 12 weeks in.

cloturesdka.com
  • 32 web requests in September 2026. About 4 times what his old site brought in a month.
  • 659 times in 4 weeks, Google's AI answers showed his website.
  • 8 cities and towns in his fence by-law guides, in French and English.
  • 54 pages on his new bilingual website.

Measured on October 6, 2026. Details below.

Kevin Marion owns Clôtures DKA. He builds fences in the Outaouais and in Ottawa. We have worked with him since July 14, 2026.

Where he started (July 2026)

  • A Wix website.
  • About 7 quote requests a month from that site (April to July 2026).
  • 16 Google reviews.
  • No text alert when a request came in.
  • Google Ads with no way to tell which ads brought requests.

What we built

A new website, cloturesdka.com, in French and English, live since August 4, 2026. 54 pages as of October 6, 2026.

Clôtures DKA's home page on a computer

Fence by-law guides for 8 cities and towns: Gatineau, Ottawa, Chelsea, Cantley, Val-des-Monts, Pontiac, L'Ange-Gardien and La Pêche, plus Quebec's pool rule, in French and English. Each guide names the by-law it comes from and shows the date we checked it.

His Google listing, linked to his new website, with replies to his reviews.

His Google Ads: quote requests from the ads are now tracked, and the ads show only on Google search. He pays Google directly.

His follow-up system: a text alert on his phone when a request comes in from his site, and a text to the customer to confirm the request arrived. Since September 28, 2026, one unified app on his phone shows every request and where each quote stands: sent, won or lost. For each request, a text robot asks him if the quote went out, then how it turned out.

  1. A request comes in from his site
  2. A text alert on his phone
  3. A text to the customer: request received
  4. In his app: quote sent, won or lost
  5. The robot asks how each quote turned out

Twelve weeks, step by step

July 14, 2026: we start.

August 4: his new website goes live, in French and English, with a text alert for every request.

August and September: his fence by-law guides, city by city, in both languages.

September 28: his app and his follow-up robot start working for him.

October 6: we measure everything below.

September's 32 requests came from 31 people: 12 had clicked a Google ad, 8 came through his Google listing and 3 from AI answers (2 from ChatGPT, 1 from Gemini). For 8, the source is unknown. In August, 20 of 25 people had clicked a Google ad.

  • In September, each request from his website cost him about a third less in Google Ads than in the 30 days before we started.
  • Google's AI answers quote his guides often.

What these numbers do not say

  • September is still fence season. October is slower: 3 requests from October 1 to noon on October 6, 2026.
  • Calls to his cell are not in these counts.
  • We did not run review requests for him in this period.
  • These are requests, not jobs won or money earned. That part is not measured yet.
  • This is one client. Your numbers can be different.

His review on Google

“UrbanTechFlow takes care of my website, my Google listing and my Google ads for Clôtures DKA, my fence company in the Outaouais and Ottawa. […] They even wrote guides on the fence by-laws of the cities where I work, in French and in English. With their app, I see my requests, my quotes and my customer reviews right on my cell. They answer quickly and explain everything simply. I recommend UrbanTechFlow to all contractors in Ottawa and Gatineau!”
