Bilingual Web Design in Ottawa, for Contractors
Your customers live on both sides of the river. Your website should talk to each of them in their own language, and neither one should feel like an afterthought.
UrbanTechFlow builds bilingual websites for trades and contractors in Ottawa and Gatineau. One site, two real versions, made to turn visits into calls.

Why a bilingual website matters for a contractor
- Gatineau reads French first, and plenty of Ottawa homeowners do too. A homeowner who has to read your site in their second language is quicker to move on to the next one.
- Google shows French pages to people who search in French. If your site is English only, someone searching "soumission clôture Gatineau" may never see it.
- A French page that sounds machine-translated tells a Quebec reader you don't really work in French. That costs you trust before the first call.
What "bilingual" means when we build it
- Two real versions, not a translate button. Every page exists in English and in French, with its own address, title and description, so Google can show the right one.
- French written for Quebec readers. "Soumission", not "devis". "Entrepreneur", not "contracteur". We write the French ourselves and read every page in both languages before it goes live.
- The same page in the other language, one tap away. The language link at the top of every page opens the same page in the other language, not the home page.
- The rest works in both languages too: the quote form, and the text your customer gets after sending it.
- One phone number, the same everywhere. One business, one number, the same details on both versions and on Google.
The website is the front door. Here's what's behind it.
Every UrbanTechFlow website comes with the system that catches the leads you already get:
- a text to the caller when you miss a call, before they call the next guy;
- every quote request in one app on your phone, in English or French with one tap;
- a review request after every job, the same honest ask for every customer;
- follow-up on quotes that went quiet.

Proof you can check today
This website is built the way we build yours. Every page here exists in English and in French, written separately. Tap "Français" at the top of this page and you land on this same page in French. Our free check reads your site in either language too.
Questions contractors ask us
Is the French version just a translation?
No. We write the French for Quebec readers, with the words your customers use. Then we check that both versions say the same thing.
Do I need two websites?
No. One website, two versions, one address. The English pages and the French pages sit side by side, and each one tells Google where its twin is.
Will Google show my French pages to people who search in French?
We set up every page so Google knows its language and where its twin is. Google decides what it shows, and nobody can promise a ranking. We guarantee the work and the date.
My customers are mostly in Ottawa. Do I still need French?
Not always. If your crews work on both sides of the river, or some of your customers are francophone, a French version opens a second door. If they aren't, we tell you so on the call.
How long does it take?
You get the go-live date in writing before we start.
What does it cost?
The website is included in every package. See the pricing page, or ask us on the call.
